What is a Birth Doula?
Doulas are trained to provide continuous, non-medical one-on-one care to families before, during, and after childbirth, as a matter of fact, my primary role is to offer emotional, physical, and informational assistance to help ensure a positive and empowering birth experience to birthing women and their partners.

During this journey I want to offer you guidance, support, and build a trusting relationship with you. Research shows that engaging with the support of a birth doula makes a world of difference!

I provide care based on the specific needs of families. We help create preferences for the birth and help advocate for our clients based on those preferences.

Advantages of Birth doula care
Research indicates that having a doula can enhance safety during labor and delivery for both the birthing person and their baby.
You Are Two Times Less Likely To Experience A Birth Complication With Doulas
We are associated with reduced use of interventions such as epidurals, labor induction, and instrumental deliveries. This can lead to a more natural birth experience and fewer complications.
Doulas help Lessen Anxiety And Depression For Pregnant People
Personalized support from doulas helps create a more positive and less stressful birth experience, which can significantly reduce anxiety and depression for pregnant people.
Doulas Offer Alternative Pain-Relief Techniques During Labor
Such as breathing exercises, massage, hydrotherapy, movement, and positioning. Effective pain management can sometimes help avoid complications.
Doulas Help Shorter Time In Labor
Research suggests that having a doula can shorten the length of labor. Continuous support and effective pain management techniques contribute to a more efficient labor process.
Doulas Help Lower Negative Childbirth Experiences
Doulas play a key role in enhancing the childbirth experience by providing continuous, personalized support, facilitating communication, managing pain, and reducing interventions. These factors collectively contribute to fewer negative experiences and greater overall satisfaction.
Better Communication Between Pregnant People And Their Health Care Providers Occur With Doulas
Doulas help facilitate communication between the birthing person and medical staff, ensuring that the birthing person’s preferences and concerns are heard. This can lead to more informed decision-making and potentially avoid situations that might lead to a C-section.

Doula Service With Care
Providing women with power and support through care.
Studies and research show that, when a doula is present at birth, women are more likely to have spontaneous vaginal births and less likely to have any pain medication, epidurals, negative feelings about childbirth, vacuum or forceps-assisted births, or cesareans. In addition, their labour is shorter.
In my opinion, we also have very big hearts. We love, guide, encourage and give all that we have like a birthing best friend through your personal journey!
